Use a few small finish nails to tack the LED lights to the base of the cabinets. Remember the nail is short enough that it won't protrude entirely through the bottom of the cabinet.
Continue tacking lights up until you get the end of the string.
Place an inline splice to the under cabinet lighting electrical wiring as close as possible to an electrical outlet. The cabinet lighting box should have this included in it.
Now splice the electricity switch of the lighting into this wire. Cut down any excess line and connect up an electrical plug to the end of the wire.
Next use a staple gun to staple up the electrical wiring. Be careful to center the wire in the staple to prevent cutting into the wire. If the wire is long to lay flush in straight line between the lights you can also snake it along underneath of the cabinet. Since the wires and lights are tucked it doesn't matter how the wiring is run, you can't see it.
The final step is to finish work on the lights. Working out the light string, pop bulbs into the sockets making sure they're tight. After all the lights are hooked up simply snap on the nice covers and that's it, you're done!
Hook up the LED lights and turn the switch. Keep your head under the counter to make sure that all the LED lights come on.
